About the Kharkov institute of a banking

The Kharkov institute of banking UBS NBU is based in May, 1944 as Kharkov obl_kovo-kreditny technical school of the State Bank of the USSR. On October, 15th, 1992 according to the order of National bank of Ukraine №64 in connection with change of a profile of preparation of experts the educational institution has been renamed into the Kharkov technical school of a banking. In 1996 the technical school has received the status of bank college, which since September, 1st, 2000 reorganised in the Kharkov branch of the Ukrainian academy of a banking of National bank of Ukraine. The Kharkov bank institute - the state educational institution which according to the licence of the Ministry of Education and Science of Ukraine from 08.12.2005 series AB №298203 renders the educational services connected with reception of higher education at level of qualifying requirements to the bachelor, to the expert, the master of a direction of preparation 0501 "Economy and business " specialities "the Banking ", "the Finance ", "the Account and audit ".

According to decision DAK from June, 4th 2002г., report №39, the Kharkov bank institute is recognised by accredited for ІІІ level from a direction "Economy and business ", a speciality 7.050105 "the Banking ".

According to decision DAK from June, 22nd, 2006, the report № 61, the institute is recognised by accredited of a preparation direction "Economy and business " obrazovatelno - qualifying level "the bachelor " specialities "the Banking ", and also освітньо - qualifying levels "the expert ", "the master " specialities "the Finance " and level "the master " specialities "the Banking ".

On the basis of the Decision of the Cabinet of Ukraine about 15.06.2006 years № 331 r and the Order of Board of National bank of Ukraine about 14.07.2006 years for № 265 in Kiev the banking University which structure included educational institutions of National bank of Ukraine including the Kharkov bank institute which it is reorganised in the Kharkov institute of a banking is created.

Since 2001, according to the received licences, institute the Economy and business "behind a speciality " the Banking "behind obrazovatelno-qualifying level " the expert "carries out retraining with granting of the second higher education in a direction ", what repeatedly accredited in 2006 (decision DAK from June, 22nd, 2006, report №61), and will organise training to workers of system of National bank of Ukraine behind professional programs of improvement of professional skill of civil servants (economists and cashiers of departments of the cash reference and cash purchases, experts of departments of transportation of values and the organisation of collection of territorial administrations NBU), behind the program "Transportation of values and collection " - collectors and drivers of departments of transportation of values and the collection organisation; courses of improvement of qualification of commercial banking establishments; Short-term seminars about pressing questions of bank activity

According to the licence of the Ministry of Education and Science of Ukraine from 22.04.2003 series AA №429379 institute renders the educational services connected with preparation for the introduction into institute Gromadjanukra§ni.

The beginning of employment on courses - in second half of October. Training term - 6 months behind internal or correspondence forms, or in groups in the day off (on Saturdays).
Training cost for 6 міс.: the internal form (evening or Saturday groups) - 700 grn., correspondence - 500 grn.

In January begin employment 3 monthly preliminary courses of the internal and correspondence form of training Preparation it is carried out from disciplines:
- Mathematics;
- The Ukrainian language;
- Economic geography;
- The introduction into a speciality

In groups to the employment day off are spent every Saturday from 8.30 till 16 o'clock
Evening groups study 3 times for a week in week from 16 o'clock till 19 o'clock (Monday, Wednesday, Friday).

The correspondence form of training on courses from preparation for the introduction is organised thus: each listener should execute 10 examinations (on 3 of mathematics, the Ukrainian language, economic geography and 1 of "Introductions into a speciality "), under the schedule to give them in institute on check. Monthly on Saturdays consultations of teachers are carried out. Final examinations on courses are spent in April and simultaneously are introductory to institute

The institute has the permission of Central administrative board of a military education of the Ministry of Defence of Ukraine to military preparation of students behind the program of reserve officers which is carried out at the Kharkov institute of tank armies NTU "HPI ". According to the letter of the Ministry of Education and Science of Ukraine from 06.03.2002 №1/9-121 to an educational institution resolved eksternatna the doctrine form in a direction "Economy and business " from a speciality "Bank has put " behind obrazovatelno-qualifying level "the bachelor "; specialities "the Banking ", "the Account and audit " behind obrazovatelno-qualifying level "the expert ".

At institute studies over 1100 students. An aggregate number of workers of 197 persons, serve educational process of 89 scientific and pedagogical workers which middle age makes 37 years, from them doctors of sciences, professors - 6, candidates of sciences, senior lecturers - 36.

Humanitarian and vocational training of students is carried out by 5 chairs: socially-humanitarian disciplines, the economic theory, a banking, the account and the finance, higher mathematics and computer technologies.

For the purpose of approach of educational process to real working conditions of banking establishments, the enterprises, firms of various patterns of ownership at institute created navchalno-trenuvalna station into which structure enter navchalno-trenuvalny bank and navchalno-trenuvaln_ firms. A premise navchalno-trenuvalno ї stations are equipped by modern office furniture, computers, interactive boards and мультимедійною technics. During carrying out of a practical training there is a formation at students of professional abilities and habits to use of the real software which assists further fast adaptation of graduates on workplaces and provides their competitive advantages in the work market.

The institute library includes a reading room, library point in a hostel, has over 74 000 copies educational, scientific, help and fiction which answers specifications of the Ministry of Education and Science of Ukraine. Annual replenishment of library by the educational literature, including own working out, reaches to 2 h thousand copies. Library work is completely computerised (program IRBIS) is used. The considerable attention at institute is taken away to practical preparation of students. Practice kinds is: on 3 course - educational, on 4 course - industrial, on 5 course - industrial and predegree, besides, students - masters pass also scientific and pedagogical experts. The complex of works concerning introduction in educational process of system of remote formation is carried out: software products LERSUS, MOODLE are used, instructors for work in the environment of Learnіng Space are prepared, is developed own standard and methodical base, introduced in educational process of retraining of 26 remote courses developed by own forces and the system of interactive dialogue of teachers with students during studying of subject matters is created: the FORUM, SENTRY.

The considerable attention in preparation of students is taken away to studying of a foreign language by them (English, German, French). At institute the branched out approach to studying of foreign languages in context Bolonskogo of process is introduced: preparation of the future experts speaking another language is carried out behind the levels of mastery of a language certain by the all-European recommendations from language formation (And - the elementary user, In - the independent user, With - the experienced user). Every year the quantity and volumes of printing scientific and uchebno-methodical production which prepares teachers of institute increase. So, for last 3 years more than 10 monographies, over 30 grants with signature stamp MONU are given out, over 300 methodical workings out and 400 articles there are more. Results of research work of teachers of institute find the display in publications of different scientific professional editions, such as "Bulletin NBU ", "Economy of Ukraine ", "the Finance of Ukraine ", "the Banking ", "the Right in Ukraine ".

In 2005-2006 n.r. 47 teachers have taken part in 58 науковихконференціях.

The institute is the participant of a regional annual exhibition "Formation - a science - manufacture ", regional annual competition "Higher school Harkovshchiny - the best names ".

For improvement of managerial process by scientific work at institute in 2005 the developed database "the Catalogue of scientific workings out ХБІ " which introduction has economic efficiency in a control system educational zakladom.

For the purpose of activization of research work of students at institute the created system of their wide attraction to participation in various forms of research activity: from 1 course students work in lexical sets and scientific mugs, take part in competitions of scientific works, the subject Olympic Games, student's scientific conferences and competitions from a speciality. A considerable role activity of student's clubs and a student's scientific organisation will play. The operating system of selection of the creatively-presented youth allows to trace scientific development of each talented student and to give possibility to continue scientific researches by training in postgraduate study of the Ukrainian academy of a banking

Within the limits of integration of institute into world system of an economic education students and teachers have possibility of passage of training outside of Ukraine. In particular in 2005-2006 n.r. Seven students and the teacher have passed training in Higher school Bundesbanku (Germany).

Training process at institute has not only educational orientation, but also an obligatory educational orientation.

Priority directions of educational work is:
- Creation at institute of conditions for free development and self-realisation of the person of students;
- Development of high professionalism of the future expert of a banking;
- Formation at students of the developed spirituality, high cultural potential;
- Formation of social activity and responsibility of the person, ability to acceptance of independent decisions.

The special attention at institute is taken away to education at student's youth of the lines inherent in the selected trade. Our students visit establishments of commercial banks, regional government NBU, annually in an educational institution competitions "the Best by a trade " and competition on the best degree project are held, meetings with practical workers bank by institute establishments-graduates

are organised Certainly, the purpose of teaching and educational work at institute is not only preparation of the expert of high level, but also development of high spirituality and morals of students. It is reached through the organisation of charities and participation of our students in a government program "Mercy ". Monthly students of institute visit a boarding school for children with hearing lacks, and also give the help to children - to invalids of a boarding school №3. Twice for a year at institute the action on gathering of things, toys is spent, the household goods for transfer to children's homes For veterans of war meetings with students, the celebratory actions devoted to Day of the Victory, excursion to a museum of fighting glory were organised.

For the purpose of the organisation of leisure of students excursions to museums of Kharkov, literary-musicale,

Students actively participate not only in various actions which are spent at institute, they support close connections with the youth organisations of other educational institutions and cities: Committee on affairs of a family and молоді at the Kharkov Executive Committee of the City Soviet of People's Deputies The regional youth centre; with the youth centre of work and td.

Active there is also a club life. Club "the Journalist " lets out the newspaper "Ours on the right ".
