The joint-stock company Company " Kharkov Online "has been based in July, 1997 in the form of joint-stock company of open type. Joint-stock company primary activity "Kharkov Online " is concentrated to development and service of a northeast segment of the Ukrainian computer network of establishments of science and education (URAN), granting of services of Internet-service-providing, rendering of services in preparation and retraining of personnel in the field of information technologies, working out of the software and information filling of a network the Internet.

Since September, 1997 the company renders services of Internet-service-providing and for today is the legislator of the Internet fashion in region. The joint-stock company "Kharkov Online " specialises on connection of corporate clients with the subsequent technological support and granting of a full set of information services by it the Internet.

In March, 1998 in joint-stock company "Kharkov Online " is created the Educational centre the Internet on preparation and retraining of highly skilled experts in the field of new information technologies. However the preparation main objective - to give to yesterday's schoolboys complex formation in the field of information technologies. Therefore curricula of this preparation provide for 400 hours of computer time per a semestre, studying of the advanced operational systems, applied programs and technologies.

For today in the Educational Center were trained, improvement of professional skill and a training for a new profession more than three thousand persons.

In the end of 2000 in joint-stock company "Kharkov Online " is created the Center of working out of the software. The working out centre ON carries out orders in area the Internet of programming and solves problems of creation of the software for financial and economic activity of the enterprises of various patterns of ownership.

Activity in the field of creation and operation of information retrieval systems and information filling the Internet takes a considerable place in joint-stock company "Kharkov Online ". Acknowledgement to it the following realised basic projects:

The server is placed in operation in November, 1998 and for present time the Internet is by the search car most popular in Ukraine on the Ukrainian resources. On a server the huge catalogue of domestic and foreign Internet resources devoted to art is supported. "Kharkov Online " - the WEB-catalogue of the Kharkov resources the Internet. It some kind of the card of information resources of Kharkov presented to the Internet. The catalogue is placed in operation in April, 1998.
